Today, we introduce Tom Rolón, our lead salesperson!
Tom originally started working at PrintWorks over 35 years ago. While his career initially began as a letterpress operator, he has held other positions as a driver, bindery worker, department manager, purchasing agent, and estimator. Today, he enjoys watching the growth of new and existing businesses through print media.
Speaking to his experience as a salesperson, Tom says, “I love being able to communicate with people whether it’s through live dramas, billboards, business cards, brochures or public speaking.” At PrintWorks, he has utilized this passion to help our community through print.
Tom credits his success to his co-workers at PrintWorks. He cites our shop’s “quality and service,” which helps him feel as though he can sell anything to anyone.
“I’m simply the face of the company. It’s the people inside who do all the real work.”
Outside of PrintWorks, Tom has been a member of several community committees. These include the Chamber’s Expo Committee, Small Business Committee (including SBU), and the Ambassador Committee. Recently, he was recognized as the committee’s Ambassador of the Year. He is also an active member of many local non-profits and charities, including the Networking Group of Indian Valley, The District Attorney’s Youth Aid Panel, and The Towamencin Business Alliance.
When he’s not here at the office, Tom is either alone writing or spending time with his family and friends. Have you interacted with Tom in the past? Tell us your favorite story!
